The Gannets and Sea Venoms were replaced in 1967 by Grumman S2E Trackers and A4 Sky-Hawks. Compared with the Gannets and Venoms, they were very high tech and carried very sophisticated weapons and tracking systems.
Above, the new breed A4 Sky-hawks being readied for take off, the Wessex Sea Rescue already away and (right), two S2E Trackers in formation passing a lighthouse and cliff formation, make an impressive sight.
